Illness
I’ve just learned that one of our staff members has the shingles. He is currently being treated by his physician, and will be cleared to return for next Wednesday. If anyone has any questions or concerns they should contact their doctor.
Those who would be at risk are unvaccinated and immunocompromised individuals.
Connecticut State Championships & Homecoming
The New England & Connecticut State Championships are on October 26, 2019 at Naugatuck High School. Our Group — group 5A — will be from 1p-2:30p, with awards at 3p.
Students who wish to attend the Homecoming Dance that night will be eligible to purchase tickets (as long as their Band Account is current & in good standing) and should be back in Stratford by 4p, and will make it to the Dance ON TIME! (for the first time in MANY years!)
Cavalcade of Bands
The Bunnell-Stratford Cavalcade of Bands is on October 19. All PARENTS are required to volunteer at the event, as well as making a donation of Soda or Water to be sold at the concession stand. All funds raised that day go towards lowering the operating cost for EVERY student.

10/9 —Brass & Woodwind Sectionals 5:15–6:15 & Practice 5:45–9
THIS IS NOT A MANDATORY rehearsal! Those of you who celebrate the Holiday are Excused!
10/10 — Practice 5:45–9
10/12 — Norwalk Show (we perform at5p)
