Things are developing at breakneck speed. I will attempt to keep you all as informed as possible

MAC Indoor Guard & Drum Line Season

As you can see by reading the announcement above, the Indoor Season will conclude at Shelton this Saturday.

As of now, all rehearsals this week and on Saturday, are “on” as planned.

This will be the last performance of the season, so all students are asked to really work hard this week to make it the very best — and parents are all asked to attend the event and cheer the students on.

I will keep you all posted, in the event that Shelton becomes compromised.

St. Pats Parade

The St. Pats Parade committee in Bridgeport has not made a final decision yet, but Boston, Hartford, New Haven and even Dublin Ireland have all cancelled their parades.

SHS students will also not be going to the NYC Parade.

I am working with Dr. Ryan, and it seems that SHS students who wish to join the BHS students AFTER the SHS performance on the Town Hall Green, will be permitted to do so PROVIDED that they use their SHS Black Pants and RETURN them to SHS on Wednesday, March 18.

Band Parents will pack all of the SHS Jackets & Hats on the truck, and our bus will pick up the SHS students on the access road between the old SHS and the Town Hall at 10:15a.

We will also provide a bus for them back to SHS at 2p

UConn Day of Percussion on April 25

Since this trip is in-state, and at the end of April — the status of this trip is now “pending”

Hollywood Trip

The Hollywood Trip is in November and as such we have no way of predicting where this situation will be, at that time.
