What a Wonderful Concert!
Thanks to our students for another terrific concert!
Congrats to our seniors for ending their concert careers on such a high note!

Thanks to everyone for such a special surprise last night! What a great honor to be named Teacher of the Year for Stratford, and I thank everyone who had a part in making it so special:
Our Admin at BHS, the Amazing Band Parents, Ms. Record & Mrs. Miller for keeping the secret and organizing and inviting so many great guests, and the fantastic students who also managed to keep this secret and pulled of a great surprise performance.
Wow. I’m so humbled and so grateful…

Drumline — TONIGHT — May 19
Drumline will move to THURSDAY this week, 5:45p-8:30p. We will stay on Thursdays through June 2
Color Guard — May 25
Color Guard for the Fall 2022 season will begin May 25th, 6–8p on the side field.

Students are expected to attend practices if they are in town. Vacations are excused.
Band Elections — May 25
Students wishing to run for office (President, VP etc…) should attend — and ALL students should attend an VOTE! Section Leaders will be appointed that day as well, and anyone wishing to be an officer MUST attend!
Memorial Day Parade — May 30, 2022
We will participate in the Memorial Day Parade in Stratford on May 30. All performers from the Fall 2022 Band MUST participate. This includes all Middle School students. SHS students will perform with SHS.
Our uniform will be a special uniform specific for warm weather events:
- Khaki Shorts
- Parade Polo Shirt (orders will be ready the week prior to the parade)
- Sneakers (white) w/socks
- Sunglasses optional
10:30a — meet in parade dress at the St. James Church parking lot.
10:45a — warm up
11:00a — Middle School students attend ceremony at Academy Hill
12:15a — Parade Steps off
1:00p — Parade ends, dismissal at Adzima parking lot at the Green
Band Tour — June 6
Indoor Drumline & Indoor Guard will do a tour to Flood MS & Wooster MS on June 6.
Here’s the schedule:
7:30a — bus from SHS to BHS
8a — meet in Band Room at BHS
8:30a — load and depart
9a — set up at Flood
10a — perform
1030a — depart for Vazzy ($10 CASH)
11:00a — lunch
12p — arrive Wooster
12:45p — perform
1:15p — depart for BHS — unload, dismissed
Band Awards Night June 9
Date — June 9. All awards will be presented that night. Students MUST attend Memorial Day Parade and must be current with their Band Financial Account.
6:00p — arrive BHS Cafe
6:30 — Pizza
7:00p — Awards

¡Gracias a todos por una sorpresa tan especial anoche! Qué gran honor ser nombrado Maestro del Año de Stratford, y agradezco a todos los que participaron en hacerlo tan especial.
Nuestro administrador en BHS, los increíbles padres de la banda, la Sra. Record y la Sra. Miller por guardar el secreto y organizar e invitar a tantos invitados geniales, y los fantásticos estudiantes que también lograron mantener este secreto y lograron una gran actuación sorpresa.
Guau. Estoy tan honrada y tan agradecida…

Drumline — ESTA NOCHE — 19 de mayo
Drumline pasará a los JUEVES esta semana, de 5:45 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. Nos quedaremos los jueves hasta el 2 de junio.
Guardia de honor — 25 de mayo
Color Guard para la temporada de otoño de 2022 comenzará el 25 de mayo, de 6 a 8 p.m. en el campo lateral.

Desfile del Día de los Caídos — 30 de mayo de 2022
Participaremos en el Desfile del Día de los Caídos en Stratford el 30 de mayo. Todos los artistas de la banda de otoño de 2022 DEBEN participar. Esto incluye a todos los estudiantes de secundaria. Los estudiantes de SHS actuarán con SHS.
Nuestro uniforme será un uniforme especial específico para eventos de clima cálido:
Pantalones cortos de color caqui
