Everyone should purchase their theme tee asap. We will wear these under our uniforms when we perform. Almost every other school has them, but none will be as nice as ours!

All students must fill this form out every year. Please download, sign and return ASAP. You MUST have this completed and submitted to ride the bus September 17.

Wednesday — September 14 — Rehearsal — Side Field 5:45–9p — all members will wear their Band Shoes & Hats & Gloves (no gloves for drummers or pit)
Dress Rehearsal September 15, 2022
We will have our dress rehearsal on September 15 in the Football Stadium at BHS.
We will wear our full uniforms and PERFORM for the parents at 8p in the stadium, weather permitting.

Here’s the “tentative” schedule for September 17:
11:45p — Arrive BHS Side Field Dressed “Waist Down” (Uniform Pants, Socks & Shoes). Please eat lunch prior to arriving.
12:00p — Rehearsal on the side field
5:00p — Run Thrus
5:15p — Food Arrives, pack truck & busses
5:45p — Depart BHS
6:00p — Contest Begins (Parents — please try to sit together!)
6:30p — Arrive Brien McMahon — dress, warm up, move to stadium
8:30p — Perform
8:40p — Pack Truck, go to food concessions
9:45p — Awards
10:15p — Depart for Stratford
10:45p — Dismissed
Uniforms
UNIFORMS: includes top, pants, shoes, gauntlets, gloves (not
drummers), hat & plume, and the uniform bag.
• Uniforms will be issued to all performing members prior to the
first performance.
• Uniforms are numbered and are not to be exchanged
between players.
• Each member will be responsible for the return of the exact
uniform that was issued. The student is responsible for the
return of all uniform parts.
• Fines will be issued accordingly.
• There is never smoking/vaping in or out of uniform.
• Uniforms are to be worn in full, at all times, unless otherwise
instructed.
Proper display of the uniform includes:
• Hat — plume in slot (unless otherwise instructed).
• Hat draped over your back, when not being worn.
• No visible jewelry may be worn while in uniform. No
earrings, rings, necklaces, watches, etc.
• Nail polish must be removed prior to performances.
• Members are to be dressed “waist down” on the days of
performances.
• Makeup for Color guard members will be determined by
staff and must be worn to the staff’s specifications.
The Band Council will decide the day of performances, based
on position in performance, location, and weather, whether the
uniforms will be worn through the end of the day.
Alternate Transportation
If you do not wish your child to ride the bus, you must submit this form to the main office at your child’s school for a signature by the Principal. You must then sign your child out after the performance with the Band Parent Chaperone (you must also show ID) for dismissal.

Religious Schooling
please do your best to schedule religious classes on the nights we do not have rehearsals. Otherwise, you will attend this rehearsal, leave for religious ed, then return for the end of the rehearsal here.

Tendremos nuestro ensayo general el 15 de septiembre en el estadio de fútbol de BHS.

uniformes

• No se pueden usar joyas visibles con el uniforme. No
pendientes, anillos, collares, relojes, etc.
• El esmalte de uñas debe quitarse antes de las presentaciones.
• Los miembros deben vestirse de “cintura para abajo” los días de
actuaciones
• El maquillaje de los miembros de la guardia de honor será determinado por
personal y debe usarse según las especificaciones del personal.
El Consejo de la Banda decidirá el día de las actuaciones, en base
en la posición en el desempeño, la ubicación y el clima, si el
los uniformes se usarán hasta el final del día.
Transporte alternativo
Si no desea que su hijo viaje en el autobús, debe enviar este formulario a la oficina principal de la escuela de su hijo para que lo firme el director. Luego, debe firmar la salida de su hijo después de la presentación con el padre chaperón de la banda (también debe mostrar una identificación) para el despido.
