Saturday 9–25–2021

We will be staying for Awards

11:00a — arrive dressed Waist Down
Drill Rehearsals until lunch
Drill/Music after lunch
3:30p — Run Thru’s
4:00p — load truck and busses — food delivery (details soon)
4:30p — Depart for New Milford HS
5:30p — arrive New Milford, get uniform jackets and hats on, warm up
7:30p — Perform
8:15p — Awards
8:45p — depart
9:30p — arrive Stratford, unload, dismissed

Students MUST have a medical release form (parents fill this out) before boarding the bus on Saturday:

Parents — PLEASE be on time to pick up your child after we return. I will send a remind out as we 30 minutes from Bunnell. Better yet — come to the contest and cheer us on!

Chang’s Band and other Disney Info

BIG UPDATE:

ALL members of the ENTIRE BAND (musicians) will be Paid Actors for the filming on October 29th!!!

Guard members will be paid as “Extras”

Chang’s Band Musicins will ALSO be paid actors for filming on the 10th, 24th!!!

All students will need to fill out several forms that you will receive via email.

Please fill out the following form ASAP, if you will be performing in Chang’s Band Only (this is different than the RSVP form) This is so that the MUSIC CONTRACTOR can get you the forms that you MUST have in order to work and be paid. This is Chang’s Band — MUSICIANS ONLY (no Guard yet).

Chang’s Band Members

Please see below for a list of Chang’s Band Members Band & Guard (Guard will only be filmed at BHS on October 29).

All of the students on this list MUST be available for all filming dates and all rehearsal dates. Please advise if you are unable to make the commitment, as we will put someone else in your place.

If you do NOT see your name — you will be an “alternate” to fill in if someone drops out or misses a rehearsal.

Covid Protocol

Anyone who is performing with Chang’s Band (including the color guard) MUST submit to covid testing 2 days prior to any rehearsal w/actors and any filming days.
All Chang’s Band members, including Guard, MUST be vaccinated.
All Disney employees, crew & actors will also be submitting to an even more rigorous testing regimen.

Students under 18

Any student under 18 must have a parent/guardian at every rehearsal (where there are actors) and every performance/filming date — no exceptions
Parents may appoint a proxy guardian — such as a Grandparent or Aunt/Uncle etc… sibling over 21
