Greetings All — here are the updates…

Sectionals, Captionals & Basics

Rehearsals are “ON” unless you have to use your windshield wipers… that’s our general “rule” to know if something is cancelled due to weather. Please also keep in mind that, student officers are organizing the Sectionals & Captionals and are doing their best to communicate any changes…

We ask that, if you are in town, please attend all Sectionals, Captionals and Basics Marching practices. The schedule for all of these can be found here:

Please note:

Pit Percussion Players do not have any summer rehearsals and are not required to attend Basics.
Drummers do need to attend Basics (Snares, Tenors & Basses)

Color Guard

Uniform fittings will be THIS week at the Wednesday Practice. You will receive a link to submit your sizes, if you are out of town.

A Possible BIG Project on the Horizon

There is something VERY COOL in the works. I will let you all know more, once things are solidified. You will all be BLOWN away if this works out! Let’s just say — you should all be practicing and preparing to be your very best — you may be called on earlier than we think!

Band Parents

The Executive Board will be having a few meet & greets at the beginning of Basics Practices for the next few weeks on Wednesday nights.

Band Parents meet and greet: Parents- stop by and meet your fellow band parents and board members during the first 15 minutes of drop off this Wednesday and next. Get the inside scoop on the organization that you are part of and learn how we support our students. We’ll meet in front of school to allow practice to begin uninterrupted. A separate parent meeting is being planned full of information…Stay tuned!! We look forward to seeing you!

Mrs. Coccoli has graciously volunteered to do our adbook for the 2021 Cavalcade of Bands.

This is our largest fund raiser of the year. Students have the potential to raise hundreds of dollars with minimal effort.

All students are required to raise $425 for operations (since we receive minimal funding from the Bd. of Ed. budget). This fund raiser is the easiest way to complete that!

All funds raised in excess of $425 will be kept in an account to be used for future seasons of any Band Trips

Marching Band Music & Audio Files 2021

Please download your Sheet Music & Play Along Audio file (your part with a click track) here (all first year members should take a 2nd part, or 3rd for the trumpets… the only difference between 1st and 2nd, or 3rd, is how high the notes go).

The show is called “Heroes” and is a tribute to all essential workers from 2020 & 2021.
