Band Notes 3–3–23
some quick updates…
The Red Carpet!
We all had a great time at the Premiere last night inStamford! The consensus is that the film was even better the second time!
I will upload some photos to the Band Facebook page at some point today.
I also was able to obtain one of the movie posters, which I will have everyone who was in the film from the Band & Guard sign, and then frame and hang in the school.
Drum Sectionals Saturday
Mr.Dolan, Mr. Dugan, Jackson & Mr. Palumbo will be available from 12p-3p THIS SATURDAY. The sectional will be for Snares, Tenors, Bass Drums & Pit ONLY.
Attention all Band Parents
It’s that time! The 23rd Annual Bunnell-Stratford Drumline and Color Guard Competition.
The event will take place at Bunnell High School on March 11th. Show starts at 2:00 pm with the doors opening at 1:00pm to the public.
As a reminder that both Fall Marching Band, Drumline and Color Guard parents are obligated to volunteer. This is the same as we did for the Cavalcade show last fall.
We need all parents help as this is a huge show for us.
If you signed up at the band parents meeting, please check that we have included you in the appropriate spot(s). Please feel free to sign up for additional shifts if willing.

St Patrick’s Day Parade
We will perform in the St Patrick’s Day parade in Bridgeport on March 17. SHS students will attend their trip. FMS & WMS students are invited to attend.
- we will wear the same uniforms that we did in Disney
- we will play the same music we did in Disney
- drummers will learn the full Carnivalito
- the parade is .5 miles total and is in Blackrock
08:30am — report BHS Band Room — dress, warm up, tune up, run through, load busses
09:30am — Depart for Bridgeport
12:00pm — Parade Steps off
12:45pm — Arrive Vazzy Stratford for Lunch
01:30pm — depart for Bunnell
01:45pm — Unload into the Band Room — busses at 2:00pm.

algunas actualizaciones rápidas…
¡La carpeta roja!
¡Todos lo pasamos muy bien en el estreno anoche en Stamford! ¡El consenso es que la película fue aún mejor la segunda vez!
Subiré algunas fotos a la página de Facebook de Band en algún momento hoy.
También pude obtener uno de los carteles de la película, que tendré en el cartel de Band & Guard para todos los que estuvieron en la película, y luego lo enmarcaré y lo colgaré en la escuela.
Seccionales de batería Sábado

Atención a todos los padres de la banda
¡Es ese momento! La 23.ª competencia anual Bunnell-Stratford Drumline and Color Guard.
El evento se llevará a cabo en Bunnell High School el 11 de marzo. El espectáculo comienza a las 2:00 p. m. y las puertas se abren a la 1:00 p. m. al público.

Desfile del día de San Patricio
Actuaremos en el desfile del Día de San Patricio en Bridgeport el 17 de marzo. Los estudiantes de SHS asistirán a su viaje. Los estudiantes de FMS y WMS están invitados a asistir.
usaremos los mismos uniformes que usamos en Disney
tocaremos la misma música que hicimos en Disney
los bateristas aprenderán el Carnivalito completo
el desfile tiene un total de 0,5 millas y está en Blackrock
08:30 am — reportar a la sala de banda de BHS — vestirse, calentar, afinar, recorrer, cargar autobuses
09:30 am — Salida hacia Bridgeport
12:00 p. m. — Desfile de pasos
12:45 p. m. — Llegada a Vazzy Stratford para el almuerzo
13:30 — salida hacia Bunnell
