Greetings All — here’s the Scoop!

Congrats to the Guard on their 3rd Place finish (Beating Cheshire by almost 2 points) and the Drum Line on their Second win of the season. The performances keep getting better, and our students continue to shine!

Tuesday at 5p-7p at the dungeon for uniform adjustments etc…

St. Pats Parade

The Bridgeport St Pats Parade will be THIS FRIDAY, March 15, 2019.

WEATHER ALERT — we may have to cancel — will try and make the call on Thursday!

Here’s the schedule:

9:15a Bus picks up SHS Students
8:20a — all students check in to Period 2 for attendance, then report to the Band Room.
9:30a — busses depart
10:00a — busses arrive Bridgeport Harbor Yard parking lot, unload, warm up, & stage…
12:00p — Parade steps off
12:30p — Load Busses & Truck
1p — arrive Vazzy’s Stratford for lunch ($7.00)
1:45 — depart for BHS, Unload, dismissed

All students will need to have their full band uniform, including pit. We will have a night available for uniform adjustments prior to the parade.

Drum Line Saturday

10:00a — Report BHS MAIN GYM (Bring lunch, snacks & beverages and $ for dinner)
1:30p — Depart for Jon Law
2:00p — Warm Ups
4:00 — Perform
4:45p — Awards
5:15p — depart for BHS
5:45p — Estimated Return/Dismissal from BHS (please be on time to pick up your child!)

Guard Saturday

9:45a — Report Whitney (Bring lunch, snacks & beverages and $ for dinner)
12:30p — Lunch
4:15p — Depart for J Law HS
6:40p — Perform
9:15p — Awards
9:45p — depart for BHS
10:00p — Estimated Return/Dismissal from BHS (please be on time to pick up your child!)

We are preparing to take orders for the State Championship Jackets. Cost will most likely be under $100. Details as soon as they are available.
