Weekend Wrap Up

Another AMAZING performance by the Guard!

First or second place in every caption except Effect, & 3rd place overall!

Guard will have their regular practices this week, but no show or rehearsal Saturday.

Tonight it’s Dining with a Cause!

Stratford Arts Commission- Feb 20

The Annual Stratford Arts Commission Performances are Feb 20 at the Riverview Bistro. Students may elect to perform a solo or small group. Please advise ASAP if you can perform and attend!

Drum Line Clinic in NJ on February 12

Our Indoor Drum Line will be the featured performers on a Percussion Clinic in New Jersey at Caldwell University in Montclair on February 12, 2020.

We will be departing from BHS at 12:10p and returning at approximately 9:30p. We will stop at Wooster & SHS to pick up the SHS students on our way out. Flood students will need to be at BHS by 12noon.

Students will need to bring $10 (CASH) for dinner in the Cafeteria at the University, and we will be wearing our new Drum Line Shirts.

Students will also need black pants (or black jeans) and black shoes & socks (band shoes are the best option). Sneakers are ok as long as they are 100% black with no other markings at all!

* 11:30a — report time

* Main Gym from 12–3

* Load at 3

* Depart at 3:30/4p

* Perform at New Milford at 7p

* Load — go home!

DO NOT put anyone in your room without confirming it with them first! We will combine the doubles and make rooms for those who don’t sign up, so — worry not! You will all get a room! (Please no singles or triples. 5 is right out!)

BUT…

The following people have STARTED a registration with Super Holiday Tours, but did not finish the registration. (To complete your registration, you need to add yourself, or others, as a “Traveler” and then complete your $50 Deposit.

Kris Sinise, Alexander Ugarte, Molly Csonka, Brendan Murphy, Arelis Maldonato-Rivera, Ruben Reyes, David Sinise, Marie Bedoya, Kara Sinise.

As of today — only 39 people have completed the Super Holiday Tours Registration! However, On the BUNNELL Sign Up/Registration Page, we have over 140 people registered!

Here are the steps:

go to www.superholiday.com
Click “Online Trip Registration:

Then you get this screen
Put in your code BUNNELL2020
You will then get this screen:

Fill in all of the information then click “Create my Account”
You will receive an email to verify your account
THEN — log in to your account and you will get this:

Be sure to select “I’m Traveling as well” if you (the parent) are going. If you are just registering your child — then just check “agree” and then update Account.

You should then get this window:

Complete YOUR information then update traveler. THEN — click +Add Traveler to add the rest of your family members.
BE SURE, when prompted to pay your $50 deposit/traveler!

The registration is not completed until you make your deposit!!!

We currently have 159 Trip Registrations!

We need to get a count for the acquisition of airfare. Please fill out the following forms ASAP. It’s simple — we need a head count!

Each and every single traveler MUST fill this out, please:

ALL TRAVELERS MUST Also Fill out the Super Holiday Tours Registration:

If you have not already paid your deposit, please go to the trip page on the band website http://www.bunnellband.org/Band-Trip-2020/. Scroll down and links for both registrations can be found on this page. Follow the link to create your account with Super Holiday Tours.
While we are planning to setup a process for transferring student account funds to Super Holiday Tours, the initial $50 deposit for each traveler must be paid directly to Super Holiday Tours.

Please note:

Once you create your account you must ADD TRAVELERS! This includes yourself.
It can be ONE ACCOUNT for your entire Family — if there are multiple members in your family that will be traveling.

EXAMPLE A: A Family has 4 travelers

Mom or Dad creates the account
Mom or Dad adds herself/himself as a traveler
Mom or Dad then adds the rest of the family as additional travelers under the SAME account.

EXAMPLE B: Only the student is traveling

Mom or Dad creates the account
Mom or Dad adds her/his child as a traveler

ALSO:

If you had an older Super Holiday Tours Account — that account has been deleted. All travelers MUST create a new account for the 2020 trip.

Remember:

You are not officially registered on the trip until AFTER you pay your $50 deposit online to SHTours!
