BAND NOTES from Monday:

Traveler Registration

Each traveler MUST fill out a separate registration. Eligible travelers include: Student Performers (including recent alumni who participated in the filming), Parents, Siblings, Band Staff. Parents who volunteer to Chaperone will receive a discounted price.

Once we have a final count on travelers we can give you an EXACT cost.

EVERY traveler MUST fill out this form ASAP, but NO LATER than Wednesday, December 21, 2022. This will hold a seat for you. You can always cancel, but there will be a $50 non-refundable deposit due this week (from your credits, check, or PayPal).

Room Registration

Students should choose their room mates in advance of filling out this form.

• 4 Students per room (no mixing of Male/Female)
• Students can register in groups of 2 or 4 ONLY. (rooms of 2 will be paired together, after the registration is completed)
• The first person in each room is the “Room Captain”. Room Captains will receive the keys at check in and also be responsible for making sure all students are up in the am and attend breakfast.
• Please read EACH question carefully as you complete the form.
• These are the types of rooms. Students should (obviously) choose student performer. All others please choose the room that fits your needs. Pricing is based on total room occupancy. (4 add on travelers in one room is less than 2 and so on).

• Example — if your student is attending, and you want to attend and bring your spouse plus a sibling — then you would register EACH person staying in that room as an “Add on Triple”, since the student will be in one room and the other 3 family members will be in an add on room.
• Chaperones will be chosen from the add on rooms
• If you do not register for a room, the Band Officers and I will assign you to a room.
• PLEASE DO NOT submit someone’s name without speaking with them first!

Headline — Band Trip To California

While the Board of Education has not given its official stamp of approval, all indications are that the following trip will begin to move forward next week. I have been talking about this possibility for several months, but everything was always dependent on Disney’s time table.

PLEASE take some time over this weekend to speak together and make plans for how you can work this out!

Chang Can Dunk Private Premiere Screening

The Bunnell-Stratford Bulldog Marching Band & Colorguard has been invited by Disney to attend a Private Premiere Screening of the film on their Motion Picture Studios Lot in Burbank California!

Featured Parade in DisneyLand Park

The Bunnell-Stratford Bulldog Marching Band & Colorguard will be featured in a Magical Parade in DisneyLand in Anaheim California!

05:00p — Truck Loading Party. Bring all luggage & instruments to be loaded on the truck. Dave T will be leaving at 6a Saturday morning for Los Angeles. This way, we will not have to do bag drop, or baggage claim at the airport.

Thursday February 16, 2023

• 02:00a — Depart BHS Parking Lot via Motorcoach (Dattco)
• 04:00a — Arrive JFK International Airport, go through security
• 06:22a — Arrive LAX, meet Tour Guide & board Busses
• 08:30a — Arrive Mann’s Theatre. Free time to explore the “Walk of Fame” and the surrounding landmarks. Lunch on own at the food court near the Dolby Theatre.
• 12:00p — visit the Hollywood Bowl & Hollywood Sign
• 01:30p — depart for Hotel
• 02:30p — Arrive at hotel. Unload luggage from Truck, check in
• 0:400p — Depart for Dinner (local restaurant such as In & Out Burger)
• TBA — Arrive Disney Studios for the Screening (we will dress up for this event!)

NOTAS DE LA BANDA del lunes:

Registro de viajeros
Cada viajero DEBE completar un registro por separado. Los viajeros elegibles incluyen: Artistas estudiantiles (incluidos ex alumnos recientes que participaron en la filmación), padres, hermanos, personal de la banda. Los padres que se ofrezcan como voluntarios para Chaperone recibirán un precio con descuento.
Una vez que tengamos un conteo final de viajeros, podemos darle un costo EXACTO.

Registro de habitaciones
Los estudiantes deben elegir a sus compañeros de habitación antes de completar este formulario.
4 Estudiantes por habitación (sin mezclar Hombre/Mujer)
Los estudiantes pueden registrarse en grupos de 2 o 4 SOLAMENTE. (las habitaciones de 2 se emparejarán después de completar el registro)
La primera persona en cada habitación es el “Capitán de la habitación”. Los capitanes de habitación recibirán las llaves al registrarse y también serán responsables de asegurarse de que todos los estudiantes estén despiertos por la mañana y asistan al desayuno.
Por favor lea CADA pregunta cuidadosamente mientras completa el formulario.
