Band Notes 12–2–2021
A few very quick IMPORTANT updates
Disney Celebration
We will have a short “Wrap Party” next Tuesday, December 7, starting at 5p at the BHS Cafeteria.
SHS students will ONLY be able to stay until 6p, as they have a rehearsal that Dr. Ryan will allow you to be 15 minutes (only) late. (sadly, this is the only night that we could coordinate with Disney and the school schedules.
All members of Chang’s Band & Guard PLUS those students who were part of the “Full Big Band” are invited to attend, as well as our staff and the parents who helped and were close to the project.
Here is the schedule:
- 5p — arrive at the Back door to the BHS Cafeteria.
- Check in for contact tracing
- “Celebrate” (my understanding is that there will be food)
- 6p — SHS students must depart
- 7p — that’s a wrap!
I don’t know much more about the night, as the director’s assistant, Melody, is handling all of the details.
ALL covid precautions and protocols are in place. (masks/distancing etc…)

Holiday Concert
The holiday concert has been approved for a “Live Audience” for December 21st!!! Start time — 7p
The concert will be in the Gymnasium.
No cost (Our Gift to you!)
Please fill out the following “BUNNELL ONLY Survey & Ticket Request” form ASAP
You may do the following:
- reserve your 2 tickets
- decline 1 or 2 tickets
- request 1 or 2 additional tickets
If you do not respond by December 17, we will assume you do not need any tickets, but responding and declining helps us give your tickets to others who might need them.
please submit your form asap, as additional tickets will be approved and honored on a case by case situation, on a first come first served basis!

- Tie (holiday colors for the tie — silver, gold, blue, purple, red, green.

Marching Band Fall Season Payments
All students should have completed their $425 in fund raising by this point — please make a payment NOW if you are not caught up! (We need to pay our staff & vendors!!!)

Algunas actualizaciones IMPORTANTES muy rápidas
Celebración de Disney
Tendremos una pequeña “Fiesta de Envoltura” el próximo martes 7 de diciembre, a partir de las 5p en la cafeteria de Bunnell.
Los estudiantes de SHS SÓLO podrán quedarse hasta las 6p, ya que tienen un ensayo en el que el Dr. Ryan le permitirá llegar 15 minutos (solo) tarde. (Lamentablemente, esta es la única noche que pudimos coordinar con Disney y los horarios de la escuela.
Todos los miembros de Chang’s Band & Guard MÁS aquellos estudiantes que formaron parte de la “Full Big Band” están invitados a asistir, así como nuestro personal y los padres que ayudaron y estuvieron cerca del proyecto.
Aquí está el horario:
* 5p: llega a la puerta trasera de la cafetería.
* Verificar el rastreo de contactos
* “Celebre” (tengo entendido que habrá comida)
* 6p — los estudiantes de SHS deben salir
* 7p — ¡eso es una envoltura!
No sé mucho más sobre la noche, ya que la asistente del director, Melody, se encarga de todos los detalles.

Concierto de vacaciones
El concierto navideño ha sido aprobado para una “Audiencia en vivo” para el 21 de diciembre. Hora de inicio — 7p
El concierto será en el Gimnasio.

Si no responde antes del 17 de diciembre, asumiremos que no necesita ningún ticket, pero responder y rechazar nos ayuda a entregar sus tickets a otras personas que puedan necesitarlos.
