Band Tours — Monday the 6th & 13th

All students from SHS we are attempting to arrange a bus at the front of the school at 7:45a to pick up and bring you to BHS. Stand by…

Flood students will need their parents to drop them at BHS for 8a, and then pick up at 2p.

Students should wear their band pants & band shoes to school. There is NO PLACE to change!!!

Please remember your $10 for lunch each day. (please advise if you have a dietary restriction for Pizza).

Championship Gear

We are currently working on a “North Face” Championship jacket, as well as a Championship Ring. Orders will start next week. Jackets — we hope we will have them by the holidays (new vendor) and rings will be after the first of the year.

Friday November 10 — Home Football Game

5:45p — report BHS Dressed “Waist Down” get into full uniform

6:30p — march the team into the stadium — play “Bulldogs” Only

SHS Students will be at the SHS game until the end of the 1st Quarter. Students are encouraged to car-pool to BHS. SHS students will wear their SHS pants & shoes, and simply don the BHS Jacket & Hat upon arrival. Please have a section leader bring your instrument to the stadium, should you have that need. SHS students dismissed immediately following our performance.

Approx. 9:00p — game ends — students march up the hill together to the dungeon, dismissed.

• ALL STUDENTS are expected to attend and perform. This is a performance in public and therefore it’s not optional!
• Students will sit together in the stands, this includes colorguard
• Students may not leave the stands w/o director’s permission.
• Students MUST remain in FULL UNIFORM for the entire game

Veterans Day — Nov 10

All BHS students (Band & Guard) will perform at Veterans Day outside the Gym Lobby on November 10 at 10:45a, as the Veterans arrive. You will be called down. Lunch shifts will be adjusted.

Band WORLD Tour!

We will be going on our annual tour in November.

Nov 6 — Whitney 9a, Chapel 10:00a, Flood 10:45a, Wooster 11:45p — Vazzy for *lunch* $10

Nov 13 — SHLane — 9a, Franklin — 10:30a, Vazzy for *lunch* $10 — Johnson 12:30p

So far, all students should have made payments totaling $450 for the 2023 Season.

If you have a red $ in PowerSchool — that means you have a balance. It may or may not be a band balance.

As long as you do not owe from a previous year, or season, you will not be withheld from purchasing dance tickets etc…

If you do have a prior balance, then you will need to make a payment and sign & return a contract prior to purchasing dance tickets etc…

Students that have a balance over $100 from the 2022–23 School year will be given contracts this week (check your email) later today. Contracts MUST be signed and returned, otherwise the student(s) will be suspended from all school activities, unless and until the contract is returned.

Giras de bandas — lunes 6 y 13
Todos los estudiantes de SHS estamos intentando organizar un autobús en el frente de la escuela a las 7:45 a. m. para recogerlos y llevarlos a BHS. Apoyar…
Los estudiantes de Flood necesitarán que sus padres los dejen en BHS a las 8 a.m. y luego los recojan a las 2 p.m.
Los estudiantes deben usar sus pantalones y zapatos de la banda a la escuela. ¡¡¡NO HAY LUGAR PARA CAMBIAR!!!
Recuerde sus $10 para el almuerzo cada día. (por favor avise si tiene una restricción dietética para la pizza).

Equipo de campeonato
Actualmente estamos trabajando en una chaqueta de campeonato “North Face”, así como en un anillo de campeonato. Los pedidos comenzarán la próxima semana. Chaquetas — esperamos tenerlas para las fiestas (nuevo proveedor) y los anillos serán después del primero del año.

Viernes 10 de noviembre — Juego de fútbol en casa
5:45p — informe BHS vestido “de cintura para abajo” se pone el uniforme completo
6:30p — llevar al equipo al estadio — jugar “Bulldogs” únicamente
Los estudiantes de SHS estarán en el juego de SHS hasta el final del primer trimestre. Se anima a los estudiantes a compartir el auto hasta BHS. Los estudiantes de SHS usarán sus pantalones y zapatos de SHS y simplemente se pondrán la chaqueta y el sombrero de BHS al llegar. Si es necesario, pídale a un líder de sección que traiga su instrumento al estadio. Los estudiantes de SHS salieron inmediatamente después de nuestra actuación.
Aprox. 9:00p — el juego termina — los estudiantes suben la colina juntos hacia el calabozo, son despedidos.

Se espera que TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES asistan y actúen. ¡Esta es una actuación en público y por lo tanto no es opcional!

Día de los Veteranos — 10 de noviembre
