VERY IMPORTANT UPDATES!!!

Chang’s Band & Guard Dress for Tomorrow

I’ve just received a message from Disney Wardrobe that there are SIX changes of clothes for tomorrow!!! So — bring LOTS of stuff and REMEMBER to pack your UNIFORM as well!

From Wardrobe just now: Shirts, a layer on top like hoodies and cardigans, a light jacket (no puffers unless it’s for in btwn scenes), and bottoms. But they should have hidden layers if they want to stay warm in btwn takes. Thank you!

Indoor Color Guard Begins NEXT WEEK

Our color guard starts practices next Tuesday at Eli Whitney school, 6p-9p

Masks and distancing are required.

Schedule

Arrive dressed for the “Band Practice Scene” (wear your Long-Johns — it will be cold!!!)

• 8a-4p percussion, color guard, woodwinds, & drum majors.
• 11a-7p everyone else. (Brass Players)
• Breakfast will be open for the 1st group not the second, so brass players should arrive having eaten breakfast.
• Crew lunch will be provided for all.

Dress for the Day

• It will be chilly, so dress in layers.
• All students, Band & Guard, should bring SIX changes of clothes bring a back pack or small duffle bag with several changes of clothes.
• Remember your Uniform Pants, Socks & Shoes.
• Guard bring Shoes & Gloves from your uniform

Also Bring:

• Your device(s) plus chargers
• Work to do (Homework/books etc…)

Pep Rally

There will be a pep rally at BHS next Wednesday

***We are waiting to learn if SHS, FMS & WMS students will be permitted to attend and perform***

Dress is spirit Blue, Grey & Gold — Band Gear & Band Jackets

Dress in layers — it will be cold!

• Band & Guard students dismissed after Period 1
• Move equipment to the field (full pit)
• Perform as students arrive (approx 10:15a)
• Breakdown and move equipment to the dungeon after the National Anthem
• Return for the balance of the pep rally, dismissed with the rest of the school

I will inquire if the MS students will be permitted to attend

Holiday Concert

The holiday concert has been approved for a “Live Audience” for December 21st!!! Start time — 7p

It will be in the Gymnasium, and there will be some restrictions…

There will be a survey next week regarding tickets etc…

Vestido de banda y guardia de Chang para el mañana ¡Acabo de recibir un mensaje de Disney Wardrobe de que hay SEIS mudas de ropa para mañana! Así que, trae MUCHAS cosas y RECUERDA empacar tu UNIFORME también. De Wardrobe hace un momento: camisas, una capa en la parte superior como sudaderas con capucha y cárdigans, una chaqueta ligera (sin puffers a menos que sea para escenas entre dos) y pantalones. Pero deberían tener capas ocultas si quieren mantenerse calientes en dos tomas. ¡Gracias! Interior Color Guard comienza la PRÓXIMA SEMANA Nuestra guardia de color comienza las prácticas el próximo martes en la escuela Eli Whitney, 6p-9p Se requieren máscaras y distanciamiento. Sábado 20 de noviembre de 2021 Recuerde: no hay bus Calendario Llegue vestido para la “Escena de práctica de la banda” (use sus calzoncillos largos, ¡hará frío!) Percusión 8a-4p, guardia de color, instrumentos de viento de madera y bateristas mayores. 11a-7p todos los demás. (Tocadores de viento metal) El desayuno estará abierto para el primer grupo, no para el segundo, por lo que los músicos de viento deben llegar después de desayunar. Se proporcionará almuerzo a la tripulación para todos. Vístete para el día Va a hacer frío, así que vístete en capas.
