Parent Volunteers for Thursday Night Rehearsals
From the Band Parents:
We are so excited to have rehearsals start up again! To make this happen we need parent volunteers. We will need temperature takers, contact recorders, pit crew, and chaperones. Volunteers MUST be BOE vetted adults only. Unfortunatley, we can not allow non-vetted family members, ninjas or student siblings to volunteer or attend rehearsals. Masks and gloves are required. Let’s make this a great season!

Instruments
All students at BHS should plan on bringing their instruments into school next week, starting on Monday. Students may leave them at school ONLY from Thursday night to Friday morning (Cohort B) OR — Cohort B can leave their instruments in school from Thursday in class through Thursday night, then bring them home again.
The “Pit Crew” parents will move ALL podiums and LARGE percussion instruments to and from the field. Battery members will move their own equipment. All instruments will be wiped down before & after each move.
Rehearsal set up
Please see the diagram below.
- Students will get dropped off by the tennis courts
- Students will go to the check in table. There will be 4 lines (details to follow) where you will get scanned and questioned.
- Students will report to their assigned sectional location (diagram below)
Music Stands & Wind Clips
We would prefer that all Students have their own personal music stand, to avoid having to move stands from the band room. They are relavively inexpensive:
Students should also bring “Wind Clips” (clothes pins) as well.
