Weekend Updates

Firm Dates for Disney

These are all FIRM dates:

Oct 27 — Covid testing for ALL Band students filming on Oct 29. I will act as Guardian for all Band members (parents are still needed at the event) so that ONLY students & band staff will be tested.

Oct 29 — Filming at BHS (Weather Permitting)

Students — Report time is 4:00p in full uniform
End time is 10:30/11:00p

Nov 5 — Covid testing for Chang’s Band (no guard) & their parents/guardians

Nov 7 — Filming in Stamford times TBA

Nov 18 — Covid testing for Chang’s Band & guard & their parents/guardians

Nov 20 — filming day in Stamford (Weather Permitting)

Tentative Dates for Disney

This is a TENTATIVE date:

Oct 25 or 26 Practice at BHS — 8:30a-11a

Cavalcade of Bands at Bunnell — Oct 23

10:30a — arrive dressed Waist Down, get your gear and report to the stadium.
POSSIBLE Covid Testing
11:00a — Drill Rehearsals until LIGHT lunch (more like a snack)
Drill/Music after lunch
3:15p — Put on full uniform (middle school students will STAY with our rehearsal even after the other MS students arrive).
3:30p — Perform for the Middle School Students
3:45p — dinner coupon provided (seniors escort visiting bands)
5:30p — meet at Band Room for Warm Up
6:30p — Perform
6:45p — Senior Recognition
7:00p — Awards
7:30p — pack up/dismissed
