Here are the updates:

October 22, 2020

This week, will be our first “Competition”. We will be in the stadium and we will video record our “show” to submit to USBands for the “State Championships”…

Here is the plan:

  • 5:30p — Arrive as we did last night, at the tennis courts. All Brass, Woodwinds & Percussion/Pit will wear Dark Pants, dark shoes and a dark top/jacket. Guard attire TBA

After check in, please report to the DUNGEON to pick up your HAT & GLOVES. (new members will be sized at that time). FLUTES & CLARINETS — please bring a pair of scissors in your case to cut the gloves.

  • 6:00p — Report to sectionals (Pit bring equipment to the stadium)
  • 6:30p — Depart for the Stadium
  • 6:45p — 8:00p — Rehearsal in the Stadium
  • 8:00p — Video Recording session begins
  • 8:30p — Clean Up/Dismissal

It is IMPERATIVE that all members have measures 132 to the end READY for PERFORMANCE by Next Thursday.

The following week we will add part 2a (measures 56–95)

CLOTHING DRIVE 10–24–2020

We are in need of parent volunteers for our Clothing Drive, this Saturday, October 24th in 2 shifts from 9 to 1. The drive will be at ElI Whitney in the bus loop. This is a great opportunity for new parents to volunteer as this is an adult only event and vetting is not required!!

ELECTION DAY BAKE SALE 11–3–2020

We are in need of volunteers to work our bake sale table from 5:30am to 8:00pm in 2 hour shifts. This is another great opportunity for our new parents as no vetting is required. Be advised this is an out door event, rain or shine. We will be setting up under awnings outside of the lobby entrance at BHS.

ATTENTION ALL BAKERS for 11–3–2020

Hello bakers!! We have been approved to have an Election Day Bake Sale! Per the Health Department all items MUST be shelf stable. Items with frosting, like cupcakes, or Items such as cheese cake, or anything that once home should be refrigerated like fresh fruit pies or lemon bars can not be accepted. All Items must come to us pre-packaged for individual sale. We can not package anything on site. Any items with nuts MUST BE marked. If you can help by baking, as always it is very much appreciated! There are no better bakers than those in our Band Community!!!

November Bottle Drive 11–14–2020

Octobers bottle drive with the Stratford High Kids was a great success!!! Thank you to all that donated your time we can not do it without you!!

Parents for Thursday Night rehearsals thru 11–12–2020

There are still spots open to volunteer at rehearsals. Parents must be BOE vetted, siblings or non vetted family members may not volunteer for this.
