here are the updates:
Schedule for this week
Regular week for Drum Line & Guard
Trip Practice — Feb 7
There will be ONE PRACTICE for ALL Student Performers (including Alumni) on February 7 from 6p-9p at BHS (it’s the only night we could get the Gym). All student performers MUST attend this ONE practice.
Uniform Fitting — Feb 7
We will fit all students who need uniforms (including Drum Majors & Alumni) at 5p on February 7.

Flight Manifest
The flight manifest is submitted. Ticketing has occured. I will let you know ASAP I get the individual flight(s) lists.
How to pack for the trip
You may bring ONE suitcase, your instrument or equipment, and your uniform parts to the truck for California.
You may bring ONE personal item for the flight. Keep that as “light” as possible!
Be sure to get/bring a personal portable phone charger! You will be waiting in lines at the parks and your battery will drain!
Basic Packing List
In Your Luggage:
Personal Articles:
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Prescriptions (if needed)
- Contact lens solution (if needed)
- sun-screen
Clothing:
- Sweater or light weight jacket.
- Jeans & shirts to wear in the parks
- Shoes (sneakers) and socks.
- Attire for the screening (Men — shirt and tie/sweater/dress pants/dress shoes. Women — pants/skirt or dress & dress shoes)
- Swimsuit (if you wish).
- under garments
In Your Personal Carry On:
- Personal portable phone charger
- Phone
- Glasses/Sun Glasses
- snacks
- Wallet/ID
- Color Guard Only — Guard Uniform
Uniform Items — to be packed in your Garment Bag:
- Marching shoes and at least two (2) pair of lightweight black socks & gloves.
- Uniform top, pants & hat (in hatbox).
- Color Guard — complete uniform
- We will transport plumes.
Instrument Care Checklist:
- Each band member must be certain that his or her instrument is in perfect playing condition.
- Woodwinds — Have at least 2–3 good reeds.
- Brass players — Remember valve oil and/or slide oil, and have a soft cloth to polish your instrument.
- Percussion — Check to see that a complete list of what is needed is drawn up prior to departure and each item inventoried before packing in provided accessory cases/boxes.
- Guard — whatever flags we need (your uniform will travel with you in your Personal Carry On bag — please pack it with your guard shoes in 2 separate plastic bags and place it in your Personal Carry On for the flight.)
Leave at Home:
- Expensive or sentimental jewelry
- Extra clothes you will not need.
- Stereo Systems or Gaming Consoles
- Anything that will hold us up at the Security Check points!
- Anything that in not essential for the success of this trip.
Truck Loading Party
We will load the truck at 4p on February 10 at the side door by the dungeon.
We will set up in the band room, play a run thru, then immediately load into the truck.
We will pack ALL luggage at this time for ALL travelers!
All Band Members MUST pack their FULL uniform at this time INCLUDING socks & shoes, into their garment bags. You will NOT see your uniforms until you are backstage prior to performing!

Lista de verificación del cuidado del instrumento:
Cada miembro de la banda debe asegurarse de que su instrumento esté en perfectas condiciones para tocar.
Instrumentos de viento de madera — Tener al menos 2 o 3 buenas cañas.

Cargaremos el camión a las 4p el 10 de febrero en la puerta lateral de la mazmorra.

¡Empacaremos TODO el equipaje en este momento para TODOS los viajeros!
Todos los miembros de la banda DEBEN empacar su uniforme COMPLETO en este momento, INCLUYENDO calcetines y zapatos, en sus bolsas de ropa. ¡NO verá sus uniformes hasta que esté detrás del escenario antes de actuar!
